Power disruptions on June 4, 5, and 6 in different parts of Davao City

DAVAO Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a series of power interruptions on June 4, 5, and 6, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, affecting customers in different parts of Davao City.

These power interruptions are necessary to conduct maintenance works at NGCP-Davao Substation.

The first power interruption will be for 1 hour, anytime between 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on June 4, Sunday, to facilitate the transfer of loads from the affected lines to nearby substations.

Specifically affected are customers in the entire Catalunan Pequeño, Sto Niño, Mintal, Tugbok, Tacunan, Ula, Angalan, Tagakpan, Sirib, Manuel Guianga, Tamayong, Cadalian, Cawayan, Subasta, Balingaeng, Wangan, Baguio, Tawan Tawan, Malagos, Calinan Proper, Lacson, Wines, Tambobong, Biao Matina, Biao Guianga, Biao Escuela, Bia Joaquin, New Valencia, Gumalang, Tamugan, Lamanan, Inayangan, Marilog, Datu Salumay, Malamba, Buda, and immediate environs.

Also affected are customers in the entire Ulas, Talomo, Puan, Bago Gallera, Bago Aplaya, Dumoy, Mulig, Bato, Bayabas, Marapangi, Toril, Lizada, Sirawan, Catigan, Binugao, Baracatan, and immediate environs.

Customers in the entire Matina, Bangkal, Catalunan Grande, Maa, Magtuod, Langub, Ecoland, Boulevard, Magallanes, San Pedro Square, and nearby areas, as well as those from corner Gempesaw St. and Ramon Magsaysay Ave. to Leon Garcia St., Sta. This service interruption will also affect Ana Avenue to Lizada Street, Boulevard to Ecoland, Bucana, Monteverde to Villa Abrille, and neighboring areas.

Also affected are customers in the entire Agdao, Lanang, Pampanga, Sasa, and neighboring areas; as well as those in the portion of Mamay Road from St. Anthony Subdivision to JP Laurel Junction, JP Laurel from Go Hotel Lanang up to Carmelite Church, including SM Lanang, and neighboring areas.

Customers in Tigatto, Mandug, and Callawa areas; including Panorama Homes, Juliville Subdivision, Victor’s Village Tigatto, DDF Village, Deca Homes Tigatto, Callawa, Lapanday Foods, Dona Pilar Rodriguez Elementary School, Mandug Elementary School, Callawa Elementary School, Pablo Lorenzo National High School, Fatima Elementary School, Brgy. Talandang, Sitio Bunggan, Brgy. Lampiano, Prk 4 Brgy. Dalagdag – Calinan District, Palos Verdes Commercial Establishment, and the immediate environs.

Additionally, the second service disruption will be conducted on the same day for 1 hour anytime between 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. for the normalization or return of loads back to their normal set-up. Moreover, another set of power interruptions will be conducted on June 5, Monday, for 1 hour anytime between 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. to facilitate the transfer of loads from the affected lines to nearby substations while the normalization will be for 1 hour anytime between 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on the same day.

Specifically affected are customers in the entire Catalunan Pequeño, Sto Niño, Mintal, Tugbok, Tacunan, Ula, Angalan, Tagakpan, Sirib, Manuel Guianga, Tamayong, Cadalian, Cawayan, Subasta, Balingaeng, Wangan, Baguio, Tawan Tawan, Malagos, Calinan Proper, Lacson, Wines, Tambobong, Biao Matina, Biao Guianga, Biao Escuela, Bia Joaquin, New Valencia, Gumalang, Tamugan, Lamanan, Inayangan, Marilog, Datu Salumay, Malamba, Buda, and immediate environs.

Also affected are customers in the portion of Talomo, Ulas, and immediate environs and those in the entire Matina, Bangkal, Catalunan Grande, Maa, Magtuod, Langub, Ecoland, Boulevard, Magallanes, San Pedro Square, and nearby areas; as well as those from corner Gempesaw St. and Ramon Magsaysay Ave. to Leon Garcia St., Sta. Ana Avenue to Lizada Street, Boulevard to Ecoland, Bucana, Monteverde to Villa Abrille, and neighboring areas.

Customers in the entire Agdao, Lanang, Pampanga, Sasa, and neighboring areas, as well as those in the portion of Mamay Road from St. Anthony Subdivision to JP Laurel Junction, JP Laurel from Go Hotel Lanang up to Carmelite Church, including SM Lanang, and neighboring areas will also be affected by these service disruptions.

Talandang, Sitio Bunggan, Brgy. Lampiano, Prk 4 Brgy. Dalagdag – Calinan District, Palos Verdes Commercial Establishment.

Lastly, a 30-minute power interruption will be conducted anytime between 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on June 6, Tuesday.

Specifically affected are customers from Davao Light Toril Substation to Harvey’s Kambingan, including Dumoy Road, Vales Beach Resort, and neighboring areas.

Also affected are customers in the entire Puan, Portion of Talomo, Portion of Bangkal, including DCWD Talomo Sump, Jollibee Talomo, Libby Road, Lorenzo Village, Carmelo Subdivision, Reldo Village, San Lorenzo Village, Bago Aplaya, Adciville Subdivision, Rosalina Village 1, Susana Farm, Toscana Subdivision, Amiya Residences, Lower Rapnaga, Apo Golf and Country Club, and neighboring areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
