THE SAN Pedro Police Station inspected the drainage along San Pedro Street on Saturday, Sept. 23.
According to Major Marvin Hugos, San Pedro Police Station commander, they conducted the inspection together with Central 911 Urban Search and Rescue.
The inspection aims to prevent burglary and robbery incidents targeting banks, money remittances, pawnshops, and other establishments along that stretch.
Colonel Alberto Lupaz, Davao City Police Office Director chief, directed all station commanders to tighten security in their areas of responsibility after the recent robberies on a grocery store in Puan and a courier company in Catalunan Grande.
Police have yet to identify the perpetrators behind the two crimes.
