- CTTMO prepares for crowd, motor vehicles for Undas 2024
THE CITY Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) announced road closures under Oplan Kaluluwa 2024 at four locations on Nov. 1 to 2.
According to CTTMO acting division head Leonardo Pamplona, the traffic schemes are located at the busiest cemeteries and the most congested during Undas.
The locations are at the Davao Memorial Park, Buhangin Memorial Park, and the Chinese Cemetery. The fourth location will be composed of six cemeteries; San Pedro, Forest Lake, Orchard Memorial Park, Masonic, Wireless, Catholic Cemetery.
The CTTMO has also posted public advisories, maps of the road closures, and guidelines in their official Facebook Page.
Pamplona added that the CTTMO will be implementing reroutes for safe and manageable traffic on Nov 1 and 2 with around 600 personnel from the Traffic Enforcement division to be deployed on Oct 30.
“The same scheme gihapon ang atong iapply because we conducted a survey and then we found out na nothing is to be changed pa as of this time,” he said at the iSpeak on Oct. 24.
He also said that there will be deployment at other cemeteries located at Calinan, Bunawan, Tibungco except for the remote areas.
