THE City Transportation and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) has urged drivers of public utility vehicles (PUV) to ensure that they follow the seating capacity of their vehicles and to ensure that everyone wears facemasks.

Dionisio Abude, CTTMO head, warned PUV drivers that traffic enforcers will continue to monitor if guidelines are followed, particularly the maximum seating capacity and the wearing of facemasks.

He added that the public must not be complacent even as protocols have been lifted in relation to the COVID-19 virus as wearing of facemasks is still required.  “We still have the mandatory wearing of a face mask. If these protocols exist the passengers are still protected,” he added.
