THE POLICE Regional Office XI (PRO XI) seized nearly ₱10 million worth of illegal drugs from various operations in December 2024.
Brig Gen Leon Victor Z. Rosete, PRO XI chief, said they conducted 271 anti-drug operations throughout December, including buy-bust operations, search warrant executions, arrests via warrants, and marijuana eradication efforts.
These operations resulted in the seizure of 1,399.77 grams of shabu (methamphetamine) with a street value of over ₱9.5 million and 703.84 grams of dried marijuana plants worth over ₱85,000. Police also uprooted five marijuana hills.
A total of 307 individuals were arrested in connection with these operations, including 27 high-value individuals and 280 street-level individuals. As a result, 280 cases have been filed in court.
“These accomplishments highlight the dedication and tireless efforts of PRO XI personnel to combat the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region,” Rosete said in a statement.
“Let us sustain this momentum as we continue to work in service of the Filipino people,” he said.
