DAVAO City Police Office personnel arrested a high-value suspect in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted in Purok 36, Forrestal Road, Barangay Cabantian, on June 19.
The suspect, identified only as alias Bisbal, is classified as a top-six city-level high-value individual.
Authorities seized 42.13 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P674,080 during the operation.
Bisbal is currently detained at Buhangin Police Station (PS5) while waiting for the filing of appropriate charges. Meanwhile, the confiscated shabu has been submitted to the Davao City Forensic Unit for examination.
“The commendable efforts and dedication of the operating PNP units to entirely clear Davao Region from illegal drugs is part of PRO 11’s campaign against illegal drugs and its proliferation,” said PRO XI director Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III.
“PRO 11 also encourages the community to refrain from engaging in illegal drugs,” Torre added.
