PERSONNEL of Police Regional Office XI apprehended one of the most wanted persons in Davao during an operation in Paquibato District in the afternoon of June 7.
Police arrested a 36-year-old man from Samal Island, Davao del Norte by virtue of the arrest warrant for rape.
Judge Maria Eloisa A Maglana of Region Trial Court Branch 4 in Samal Island recommended no bail.
Police regional director Brig Gen Aligre Martinez said, “Your police Davaoeños will never stop pursuing all these abusers to prevent any further victimization of children. We will tirelessly pursue justice until it is served.”
“The successful apprehension of this most wanted person fosters the unwavering commitment of PRO XI to protect its citizens through finding all the fugitives of the region,” Martinez said.
