THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) arrested 84 individuals during a series of anti-crime operations conducted from October 13 to 19, 2024.
City police director Col. Hansel Marantan said they conducted 26 operations, resulting in the arrest of 31 drug personalities. Authorities seized 67.757 grams of shabu, with an estimated street value of Php 460,747.60.
They also conducted seven anti-illegal gambling operations and arrested 15 individuals, confiscated P3,037 in bet money, and filed seven cases.
In the DCPO’s efforts to bring fugitives to justice, law enforcers arrested 37 suspects in manhunt operations, including 13 most wanted persons and 24 other wanted individuals.
For loose firearms, the DCPo arrested one person and confiscated one gun.
He said these accomplishments highlighted the DCPO’s dedication to upholding the rule of law and respecting human rights.
“We will continue to conduct proactive operations to bring all those involved in illegal activities to justice,” he said.
