Pink Millennials hosts 1st UIC Open Golf Tourney

THE PINK Millennial Community of the UIC High School Alumni Class of 2000, hosted the 1st UIC Open Golf Tournament on April 9, 2025, at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club.

The meaningful event was held to support its chosen charity, the Love of the Children Foundation, Inc.

This tournament also marks the first among the year-long calendar of activities of the Pink Millennials in preparation as the Silver Jubilarians of their upcoming UIC Grand Alumni Homecoming in December 2025.

What makes the Class of 2000 unique is that they are the first “coed” batch where both boys and girls were graduates of the University of Immaculate Conception High School Department.

Almost 100 avid golfers from the city competed in the event and brought home trophies, raffle prizes, plus an exclusive merchandise from Pink Millennials. Also present during the awards night were members of the UIC-Alumni Association, guest from event partners, and sponsors.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors, daghang salamat (thank you very much) for making this event happen. To all the hardworking team of the Pink Millennials, from our batchmates and our support team, salamat (thank you),” said Ar. Aron Virtucio, chairman of the Pink Millennials and tournament director.
