Philippines to compete with Global Innovators at Geneva 2025

MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Science and Technology of the Philippines, through its Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI), is proud to announce the showcase of a diverse lineup of technologies that will compete at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (IEIG) from April 9 to 12, 2025.
As the primary national government agency responsible for providing central direction, leadership, and coordination of all scientific and technological activities to support national development, the DOST is presenting these innovations with the help of DOST-TAPI’s Science and Technology Promotion for International Contest and Exhibits (SPICE) Program. The Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) aims to forge international partnerships and demonstrate the Philippines’ growing capabilities for technological innovation and advancement.
Last 2024, the Philippines secured silver and bronze awards for all nine showcased inventions at the 49th IEIG, highlighting the nation’s rising innovation prowess in diverse fields.
DOST-TAPI is excited to share the Philippines’ technological advancements with the world. From food processing, disaster risk reduction and management, sustainable materials, and healthcare management, the country is once again ready to take the world stage and shape the future.
