PHILIPPINE Health Insurance Corp. (Philhealth) amplifies its advocacies and services through the SHInES program.
Kleah Gayle Guevarra, Philhealth XI public relations officer, said during the One Davao Presser virtual conference on May 12 that SHInES would not be effective without their media partners.
SHInES is an ongoing campaign to spread awareness of the benefits, programs, and services of the National Health Insurance Program (NHIP) among its members and stakeholders.
“Kani siya kay series of activities sa PhilHealth (it’s a series of activities) where we are going to orient and empower our information officers and media partners labot sa kaning (about) Universal Health Care Law ug sa PhilHealth,” Guevarra said.
This program aims to equip its delegates with knowledge, information, and experience as they are the information vessels for the LGUs and media outlets.
“Pinaagi aning (through this) SHInES nga activity, we’re hoping that we will be able to reach out to more members and stakeholders from PhilHealth so that they will know their benefits are gikan sa (from) PhilHealth,” she added.
She also stated that SHInES has three batches, and they seek to deliver it to the whole Davao Region.
Its first batch was already conducted in Mati City on May 8-9, for the second batch, which is ongoing in Tagum City in covered areas from Davao del Norte and Davao de Oro on May 11-12; on May 22-23, will be in Davao City, which will cover the Davao del Sur areas for the third batch.
