THE PHILHEALTH Health Insurance Corporation will organize activities, such as digital poster-making and reel-making contests for grade 8 and college students in Davao Region as part of the agency’s 29th-anniversary celebration.

During the Wednesdays at Habi at Kape forum in Abreeza Ayala Malls on March 13, Kleah Gayle Guevara, Philhealth XI Public Affairs Unit officer, announced the promotion of their ongoing contests with grand prizes, officially launched on Feb 14 during PhilHealth’s 29th anniversary with a deadline of submission for both contests on Mar 31.

The first contest is PhilHealth’s 4M campaign the “#Nag4MKNB?” (Nag 4M Ka na ba?) reel-making contest, a regional activity for Grade 8 students, both private and public schools in Davao Region to release their inner creativity via making short-form videos and to promote the 4M campaign.

“Part na siya of the K-12 curriculum to learn about PhilHealth and social health insurance. So, we want to check their knowledge and their creativity through the reel-making video,” she said.

The second contest is the digital poster-making contest, a national-level activity open for college and tertiary level students in Davao Region, where students will submit their artworks revolving in PhilHealth’s theme Piece of Mind or Kapanatagan and bearing the official colors of PhilHealth green and yellow.

The poster-making contest will have specific requirements to be met where it needs to be in an original and digital form with a portrait layout and a JPEG or PNG format. A criteria is also added in the contest based on the relevance, originality, aesthetic appeal, visual effectiveness, overall impact, and narrative and description of the artwork.

The prize for the reel-making contest is P15,000 with a plaque, tokens, and a certificate for the 1st place winner, P10,000 for 2nd place, and P5,000 for 3rd place. For the digital poster-making contest, the 1st place will receive P30,000, P20,000 for 2nd place, and finally, P15,000 for 3rd place.
