Chris Kirk – The Sentry

Chris Kirk claimed the first victory in the 2024 PGA Tour at The Sentry in Hawaii. The American golfer birdied the fifteenth and seventeenth holes, finishing the last round eight under par. Chris was leading going into the last round and he recorded six birdies for the first 11 holes before holding off compatriot Sahith Theegala’s late surge.

In Maui, the 38-year-old made one bogey the entire week to claim $3.6 million from the $20 million prize pool. Kirk was tied with Theegala to take the lead and he managed to produce an excellent shot to set the birdie.

Grayson Murray – Sony Open

Grayson Murray rallied to win the Sony Open hosted in Hawaii, following his 40-foot birdie putt during the playoff. Murray’s victory in Hawaii offers him a host of laurels, including a spot in all upcoming Signature Events in this year’s PGA Tour schedule. He will also take part in The Players Championship, Masters and PGA Championship. As such, Murray will have plenty of opportunities to test his golfing skills against the world’s best.

Nick Dunlap – The American Express

Nick Dunlap recorded a historic weekend on 18-21 Jan by becoming the first Amateur golfer to win a PGA tour event since 1991. The 20-year-old sophomore from Alabama emerged victorious in the American Express, hosted in La Quinta, California. The win also makes Dunlap the youngest amateur golfer to win a PGA tour event since 1910.

Matthieu Pavon – Farmers Insurance Open

Matthieu Pavon’s victory at the Farmers Insurance Open took him one step closer to an Olympic qualifier at home. The 31-year-old Toulouse golfer residing in Bordeaux became the first player from France to claim a PGA Tour victory in 2024.

Going into the tournament Pavon ranked No 78 globally and the win pushed them into the top 60, putting him in a great position to represent France during the 2024 Summer Olympics. That said, Pavon seems to be following in the footsteps of his father Michael Pavon who was a successful player for Bordeaux Montpellier and Toulouse.

Wyndham Clark – AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM

Wyndham Clark emerged victorious at the AT&T Pebble Beach PA golf event after extensive rain and wind forced the event to get canceled during the last day. The 30-year-old American golfer was six shots behind, but he took the lead with a 12-under-par 60 on the third day. He managed to finish on 17-under par, with a shot clear of Ludvig Aberg of Sweden and two shots ahead of Mathieu Pavon.
