Davao City – League-leader Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters play the San Miguel Beer Beerman as the PBA Governors Cup gets its out-of-town match at the Panabo Multi-Purpose Tourism Sports and Cultural Center in Digos City.
The Fuel Masters going to today’s match-up at 5 p.m. are leading the team standings with an 8-2 win-loss record as the Beerman stands at third with a 6-3 mark. They arrived Friday, March 15 for a basketball camp held at the Davao City Recreation Center and a pre-game press conference at the Phoenix Damosa.
Headcoach Louie Alas banners the Fuel Masters title search charge along with Calvin Abueva, Rey Guevarra, Alex Mallari, Jason Perkins, JC Intal, Dave Marcelo, LA Revilla, Ron Dennison, RJ Razul, Jaypee Mendoza, Michael Gamboa, Dough Kramer, Justin Chua, Matthew Wright, Joeir Napoles and Willie Wilson.
The SMB Beerman are only a game behind the Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters in the standings and will bank on the services of Alex Cabagnot, Marcio Lassiter, Terrence Romeo, Ronald Tubid, Yancy de Ocampo, Billy Mamaril, Chris Ross, Louie Vigil, Jun Mar Fajardo, Kelly Nabong, Arwind Santos, Paul Zamar, Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, Von Pessumal and Christian Stanhardinger.
