A TOTAL of 72 successful police operations resulted in the arrest of 83 drug personalities, including 16 high-value individuals (HVIs) and 67 street-level targets during the week-long operations from Oct. 28 to Nov. 3.
Acting police director Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete said the operations were part of the ongoing campaign against illegal drugs. said the operations are part of the ongoing battle against illegal drugs.
Among those arrested was the region’s top three HVI, alias Badi, who was apprehended along with three associates in Capili Subdivision, Barangay Baliok on Nov.. 2.
Key highlights from the week’s operations included the seizure of 788.3351 grams of shabu valued at P5,360,678.68; one marijuana plant; 590.519 grams of marijuana leaves; and 6.77 grams of cocaine, with a total value of P106,943.48.
Rosete said the accomplishment was a testament to Police Regional Office XI’s commitment to eradicating illegal drugs in the Davao Region.
