THE ORGANIZER of the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan and Pamulak revealed the contingents that committed to participate in the two culminating events of the 39th Kadayawan Festival.
During a press conference held at Abreeza Mall on Wednesday, July 30, 2024, Harold Quibete, said delegates from Banay-Banay, Malita, Parang Maguidanao, Sumisip Basilan, Municipality of Matanao, Kiamba, Bislig, Maragusan, Maco and Caraga would perform in the open category for the street dancing competition.
For the Davao City school-based category, the participating institutions are Catalunan Pequiño National High School, Davao City National High School, Lapu-Lapu Elementary School, Don Enrique National High School, San Roque Elementary School, and Barangay Communal.
Also, private sectors like Apo ni Lola, IPII IBEX, VXI, and McDonald’s will also send their floral floats for the Pamulak sa Kadalanan dako (big) category.
For the gamay (small) category, the Holy School Foundation, UPLBA Alumni, Ophir Maharlika, Malaysian Consulate, and El Pedio Quirino Elementary School have already signified their intention to join.
The declared grand winner for the open category will bring home P1.1 million pesos and another P1 million is earmarked for the Davao school-based category.
Meanwhile, Pamulak sa Kadalanan’s grand winner will take home P800,000 for the big category and P600,000 for the small category.
