THE Philippine Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao has provided a vessel in transporting 44 tons of food packs to Hadji Warid Pier, Mauboh, Patikul, Jolo, Sulu on Thursday.
The cargo was from the Department of Public Works and Highways and was intended for different school division offices within Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) as part of the special programs of Vice President Sara Duterte, concurrent Secretary of the Department of Education, said Lt. Commander Robert Porteza, NFEM Public Affairs Office chief.
The vessel, BRP Tagbanua, started the mission from the city on March 20 and arrived in Jolo on Thursday.
