NEW CITY Commercial Corporation Group of Companies CEO and president Lafayette A. Lim led the opening of NCCC Mall Supermarket on Friday, Dec. 20.
During the ceremonies, Lim gave a brief message of gratitude to the people behind the completion of the latest property of the homegrown retail behemoth. He also expressed his gratitude to their suppliers for “filling up their shelves,” and gave special mention to his sisters, LTS Department Stores, Inc. president Ivy Michelle A. Lim and LTS Malls, Inc. president Sharlene Faye A. Lim, who are both instrumental in the mall’s fruition.
The Lim siblings were joined by their matriarch, NCCC chairman Helen A. Lim, board member Julie Ann Lim, Barangay Ma-a Captain Pacito Cañete Jr., Department of Trade and Industry Xl regional director Romeo Castañaga, content creator Kulas AKA Becoming Filipino, Century Pacific SuperBods winner Justine Felizarta, and runner-up Patrick Patawaran during the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
According to Lim, the mall’s department store will open by the second quarter of 2025, and the entire mall will be completed thereafter, employing more than 6,000 people.
With its 60,000 square meter floor space echoing the grandeur of the Philippine eagle and its natural habitat, the shopping mall stands as “a powerful symbol of the company’s enduring resilience.”
NCCC Mall Supermarket can be accessed through its MacArthur Highway and Ma-a Road entrances.
