INVESTIGATORS have been looking for close to solve the killing of a police officer in Barangay New Visayas, Matanao Davao del Sur Tuesday morning.
The Davao Police Regional Office 11 identified the victim as Patrolman Hariz Jhun M. Adayo, 26, married, and assigned at the Don Marcelino Municipal Police Station.
Based on the report, the victim was riding a motorcycle on the way to Hagonoy from his home in Cadena de Amor St Población 1, Bansalan when someone on another motorcycle shot him several times.
Investigators said the killer used a .45 caliber pistol in killing the victim.
The killer immediately left the place while rescuers brought the victim to the Davao Sur Provincial Hospital where he died while being attended to.
