THE DEPARTMENT of Agrarian Reform (DAR) XI said about 5,320 e-titles have been distributed to 7,991 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Davao Region.
During the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas on June 25, Charlotte Sison, DAR XI assistant regional director for operations, said 6,338.63 hectares were already covered under the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) project.
“We have a field validation team to validate first, it will be municipal to barangay, with the designated people, and then doon kami papasok, kasi most of the ARBs should be within its area or should be in their particular places. We are going to validate if poorest of the poor talaga sila,” Sison said.
Based on data, the funded target for ARBs reached 82,476 with 104,084 covered.
“We (aim to accomplish) this within six months for the project as long as there are no challenges along the way,” she said.
DAR XI facilitated the distribution of e-titles to 189 ARBs in Davao City, 39 ARBs in Davao Occidental, 1,385 ARBs in Davao del Norte, and 500 ARBs in Davao de Oro. The e-titles were distributed from July 2022 to May 2024.
