Magno welcomes new NICA XI chief

PRESIDENTIAL Assistant for Eastern Mindanao Leo Tereso Magno welcomes the newly installed regional director of the National Intelligence and Coordinating Agency (NICA) in Davao Region. 

On Monday, March 11, former NICA XI head Evarly Tajanlangit retired after 35 years in service. 

Tajalangit was replaced by Enrique Magalona, who previously served in the Philippine Army. 

Magno congratulated Tajalangit for his retirement and successful career in NICA. He also thanked him for his significant contribution to the intelligence agency. 

The agency also welcomed Magalona who vowed to do his best in his stint as NICA XI director. He vowed to work hand-in-hand with Magalona, especially in maintaining an insurgency-free Davao Region. 

Magno is the cabinet officer for Regional Development and Security (Cords) in Southern Mindanao.
