LAWMAKERS commended seven Davao City universities during the 10th regular session on Tuesday, March 19.
Councilor Pilar Braga passed a resolution congratulating the Top 7 Universities in Davao following the list released by EduRank.
In the list, the University of Mindanao ranked highest among the Davao City universities, landing at the 19th spot. The others were the Ateneo De Davao (23rd), University of the Philippines Mindanao (48th), University of the Philippines Mindanao (48th), University of Southeastern Philippines (51st), University of Immaculate Conception (68th), Davao Doctors College (116th), and Holy Cross of Davao College (124th).
On February 29, 2024, EduRank evaluated different higher education institutions worldwide based on their academic reputation, research output, and student review.
The ranking was determined by analyzing 6.02K citations received by 1.64K academic publications made by seven universities from Davao, the popularity of 29 recognized alumni, and the largest reference database available.
