FOR THE Islam faithful, Ramadan is one of the year’s most sacred times—a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, charity, and bringing families and communities closer together. It culminates with the Eid al-Fitr festival after the new moon is first sighted, ending the daily, dawn-to-dusk fast.
During Ramadan, Muslims engage in self-discipline and spiritual growth, each day capped by Iftar, the communal meal to break the fast at sunset. In these cherished moments, families share food, stories, and blessings.
Given this context, one of the country’s leading food seasoning brands, MAGGI, is a trusted partner contributing annually to the celebration of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr across Mindanao. With its range of Halal products, MAGGI enhances the culinary experiences of Muslim families during this holy month.
This year at various consumer events in Mindanao, the brand reached 17,000 visitors who tasted popular chicken dishes prepared with MAGGI products and 15,000 with samples of Halal seasonings. The events showcased how MAGGI elevates food flavors and makes meals more special for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. Leading Muslim chefs held cooking demonstrations using MAGGI, while visitors received gift packs that included other Nestle products.
The events were held in Davao City; Sultan Naga Dimaporo and Mahayahay in Iligan, Lanao del Norte; Salug, Zamboanga del Norte; Capitol Masjid, Marawi City; Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City; and Masjid Raayat in Bongao Tawi-Tawi.
The brand upholds quality and authenticity that help homemakers provide delicious and uplifting dining experiences for their loved ones. With its selected ingredients, MAGGI enables the convenient preparation of wholesome, tasty food that strengthens bonds when shared among people.
MAGGI Magic Sarap stands out as an essential kitchen staple. This all-in-one seasoning with fresh ingredients – garlic, onion, real chicken, and a blend of spices – infuses recipes with a culinary magic that appeals to the taste buds.
Other products include MAGGI Oyster Sauce, MAGGI Magic Chicken Cube, and MAGGI Kari Noodles enrich culinary traditions observed during Ramadan. These enable cooks at home to prepare an array of dishes with the rich flavors of Islamic cuisine, each meal celebrating faith, family, and community.
During Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and throughout the year, MAGGI demonstrates its commitment to partnering with Muslim homemakers and their families, providing Halal seasonings as well as sharing practical information for preparing meals that nourish the body and nurture the spirit.
With years of Halal status, Halal certificates for different MAGGI products are renewed yearly by the Islamic Da’wah Council of the Philippines.
