Goncar Security Training Academy Inc.(GSTA, Inc)  14th  years Of Quality Services  in the Security industry   Solidifies the Training Landscape for Future Security Guards, Security Officers , and Manager

TAGUM, DAVAO DEL NORTE – Mindanao’s Goncar Security Training Academy, Inc. (GSTAINC), Office Address Located in Pioneer Avenue Tagum City vows to reinvigorate their mission of providing quality Training workforce to the Security industry as they celebrate their 14th anniversary this Coming October 10, 2024 with a tagline, “Security Training Landscape in Security Industry Amidst the Challenges of Technology.”

Fresh off from the recent recovery due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Goncar remains committed to its desire to produce competent Security Professionals for the security industry through training and licensing, along with its continued partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP).

This year’s tagline puts Goncar at the forefront of such issues on the security front, as it addresses curriculum changes in the enactment of Private Security Agency Law RA 5487 to Private Security Services Industry Act RA 11917 geared towards innovation and development for more well-rounded security professionals.

GSTAI has recently included comprehensive, technology-based training for would-be graduates, a necessary move as security issues have since changed with the pandemic, which is in keeping with Goncar’s goal of sending out guards capable of providing a more modern approach to security.

“Goncar Cares”

This year’s anniversary centers on Goncar’s bid to produce more competent security professionals for the industry.

“We want to assure the security Industry that our Graduates are Capable of performing complex tasks and they get the most out of Goncar,” said GSTAINC Founder and President, Rommel Pawaon, LCSP, CSMS, CST “We have added a few training items to our program for a more complete package for our future guards,” he added.

The academy has also elevated its services with its workplace ethic, dubbed, “Goncar Cares”, ensuring its clients that Gloncar has their backing from training to licensing to their eventual HIRING & placement in the industry.

Mr.Pawaon has expressed confidence in Goncar’s ability to keep up with these challenges, especially on technological issues confronting the security industry with the inclusion of such programs addressing the said matter.

“Goncar was able to survive the scare of the pandemic, and so I have my faith that we can address any challenges that would come our way moving forward,” Mr.Pawaon said, “We’ll be there for our clients all the way.”

More Years of Security Service

GSTAINC started its operation in 2010 in Tagum City and Davao del Norte and has since installed other branches in Mindanao, i.e., Davao City in 2011, Panabo in 2013, and Digos in 2015.

To educate future guards on security services and management, Goncar offers a diverse program for their students with Pre Learning Training Program (New -PLTP), Re-Training Program (Renewal -RTP ), Basic Security Supervisory Program (Security Officer – BSSP), Security Managers Program (SMP) and In-Service Security Enhancement Training Program (ISSETP) among others.

Goncar also has special courses intended to enhance the capabilities of these future guards, particularly with their Security Survey and Background Investigation Course, and CCTV Operation Course.

After more than a decade of providing security training in Mindanao, Goncar is grateful for having an equally competitive senior staff lead by Ms.Dela Pawaon, CSP, CST GSTAInc Vice President For Operation and General Manager; Mr Dionisio Carampatana, Training Director; Ms. Helen Castillo, Main Office Head Registrar; Ms.Eliza Perez (Panabo Booking Office); Mr Alvejun Cuartero, Liaison & Processing Officer; along with their deputies and the operating staff of each branch.

The academy has Already renewed its 5 years License to Operate (LTO) issued by PNP – SOSIA for the Continuity of Business Operation and commitment to its clients this year in line with its anniversary tagline with the addition of innovating its programs, opening up the landscape for those who wish to be a part of the security industry.

GSTAInc has had some challenges over the years. Their Digos office suffered a setback following a devastating earthquake in 2019, and the slow turnaround of clients for two years due to the pandemic.
