A CAFGU member tagged as the most wanted person in Monkayo was caught through a warrant of arrest at Purok 2A, Barangay Poblacion, in Davao de Oro, at 12:45 p.m. on April 20.
Lt Col Jerry Cabag, the Monkayo Municipal Police Station chief, identified him only as alias Kim, a Cafgu Active Auxiliary (CAA) member, and a resident of Purok 7, Barangay Maparat, Compostela town.
Kim was wanted for murder, in a warrant issued by RTC 11th Judicial Region, Branch 56, Compostela Davao De Oro, with no bail recommended, dated April 17, 2023.
According to the report, the Maco police led the operation together with personnel of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office, 3rd Platoon 1st DDO Provincial Mobile Force Company personnel, and Provincial Intelligence Unit personnel.
The apprehended suspect is now in the custody of the Monkayo Municipal Police Station.
