Freeze: Food to Try in Davao

Davao City is well known for its tourist spots and, by association, the wonderful beaches of nearby IGACOS or Island Garden City of Samal and also for delicious food. The abundant supply of fresh fruits, vegetables, and seafood make tourists enjoy their gustatory experience in Durianburg. For the Davao visitor, here are a few random foodstuffs to explore.

Pakfry from Palovince Restaurant. Pakfry is derived from the words paksiw and fry. As the name suggests, it goes through two processes to cook. The first step is to cook it with vinegar and spices and then deep fry it for a crispy texture. Pakfry is made from a tuna buntot or tail (image source: escapemanila.com)
