Blessed with a perfect, some 90 par busters hit the fairways of the Rancho Palos Verdes golf on Tuesday for the 1st Fur Tee Fun Golf tournament.
New Jersey based golfer Romy Francisco emerged as the Overall Gross champion after firing five birdies for a gross sore of 74 while local ace Manfred Lawas took home the Overall net plum with a score of 69.
The tournament was held in conjunction with the Annual Convention of the Veterinary Medicine practitioners in the country being held at the SMX Lanang this week.
Nobody was able to hit the jackpot for the Hole in One but the organizers decided to raffle off some of the major prizes that includes a Persian cat and a top breed puppy.
Jerson Lebosada (74) got the top plum for Class A gross while Kim IL Gyu (70) took the Class A net title. EJ So (80) and Randy Arevalo (81) took the class 1st runner up and second runner up gross trophies. Chung Gee Suk and Jerry So went home with the Net 1st runner up and second runner up trophies.

It inspires us to come up with another tournament next year, Sana suportahan nyo pa rin po ito” said Ramon Bien, tournament director.
