THE BUREAU of Fire Protection XI-Davao City Fire District is still investigating the cause of the fire that occurred at 3:05 a.m. on Sept. 25, along City Hall Drive, San Pedro Street, Barangay 1-A.
According to the BFP XI report, the fire engulfed a mercantile or general merchandise store, which reached the first alarm. However, the quick response by firefighters allowed them to control the fire at 3:45 a.m.
Authorities estimated the fire damage to reach P30,000.
However, there were no casualties or injuries reported during the incident.
