  • Police operation catches two individuals forging public documents

SAN Pedro police officers arrested two individuals in an entrapment operation at Diaz Mall, Bolton Street, on Thursday, May 9, at 2:35 p.m.

The suspects, whose names are withheld pending investigation, were caught falsifying public documents. Among the seized items were city government-issued IDs for drivers of public utility vehicles.

Major Michael Uyanguren, commander of San Pedro Police Station, led the operation with assistance from the City Anti-Scam Unit and City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO).

Authorities confiscated a computer set, two printers, and a laminating machine believed to be used in the falsification activities. The seized items will be presented as evidence against the two.

“DCPO will take swift action against those who engage in illegal activities that threaten the safety and security of our community,” said Davao City Police Office chief Col. Richard Bad-ang.

The city director encourages residents to cooperate with authorities by reporting any suspicious activities or providing information on illegal acts.
