A Department of Education employee was arrested by elements of Island Garden City of Samal Police Station in a buy-bust operation conducted at Purok 1-A, Barangay Balet, Babak District on Sunday.
Maj. Eudisan Gultiano, the spokesperson of Police Regional Office XI, identified the suspect as Domer Pelegrin Englis, 32, Dep-Ed employee, of Purok 1-A, Barangay Balet.
Confiscated during the operation were two sachets of shabu and P500 money.
The suspect was temporarily held at the IGaCoS police station detention cell while the case is being prepared against him for violation of sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspect was reportedly a newly identified drug personality.
