DAVAO Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct different sets of two 30-minute emergency power interruptions on July 3, Saturday, affecting customers in different areas of Davao City.
These service disruptions will be necessary to facilitate NGCP’s emergency repair works at their Davao Substation transformer number 1.
The first set of two 30-minute power interruptions will be anytime between 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. and 5:15 a.m. to 6:15 a.m.. Specifically affected are customers in Agdao, Cabaguio Avenue, R. Castillo Street, Lanang, Pampanga, including San Antonio, Ubalde, Pampanga Executive Homes, Nova Tierra Village, Fortune Homes, Insular Village, Azuela Cove, St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Vicente Hizon Elementary School and neighboring areas.
Also affected are customers from Davao Light Buhangin Substation along Mamay Road going to N. Arroyo Street via J.P. Laurel Avenue, including Vincent Heights Subdivision, Roseville Subdivision, St. Anthony Village, Belisario Heights Subdivision, Lanang Executive Homes and neighboring areas.
Meanwhile, a separate set of two 30-minute power interruptions will also be conducted anytime between 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.. Customers from Ecoland going to Lizada in Toril, including the entire Matina, Matina Aplaya, Matina Pangi, Bangkal, parts of Catalunan Grande, Ulas, Talomo, Puan, Dumoy, Toril Proper, Bayabas, Eden, Lubogan, Mulig, Alambre, Bangkas, Tungkalan, Marapangi and neighboring areas.
Lastly, customers from Ulas Crossing going to Buda, as well as going to Baguio, including Catalunan Pequeño, Mintal, Sto. Niño, Tugbok, Los Amigos, Angalan, Calinan, Ula, Biao Guianga, Wangan, Malagos, Barangay Wines, Tawan-tawan, Cadalian, Tamayong, Subasta, Tagakpan, Upper Sirib, Lower Sirib, Manuel Guianga, Talandang, Gumalang, Manambulan, Lacson, Megcawayan, Malabog, Tamugan, Suawan, Salaysay, Marahan, Marilog, Baganihan, Datu Salumay and neighboring areas will experience two 30-minute power interruptions anytime between 2:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m..
Also affected by these power interruptions are customers from Davao Light Tugbok Substation up to Sitio Curvada in Catalunan Grande, including Tacunan, Deca Homes Subdivision, Elenita Heights, Monte Maria Village, Skyline Subdivision, Pag-ibig Homes Subdivision, Ruby Subdivision, South Villa Subdivision, SGR Subdivision, Sitio Felomina, Sitio Ubas, Sitio Gubat, San Gabriel Village, Santiago Villas Subdivision and neighboring areas.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these emergency power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
