INCUMBENT and aspiring councilors running under the Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod (HTL) party filed their certificates of candidacy (COCs) at the Commission on Elections office in Magsaysay Park on Sunday, Oct. 6.
These include incumbent councilors Tek Ocampo, a former broadcaster, and Bonz Militar, grandson of the late Councilor Boni Militar.
In an interview with reporters, Militar said, “Actually, I will continue as chairperson, so if I get elected for a second term, I will continue the programs of Mayor Baste because there is a lot of work to be done and other landmark ordinances to address.”
On Sunday afternoon, Ragde Ibuyan, son of former Barangay 5-A captain Edgar Ibuyan Sr. and incumbent Councilor Edgar Ibuyan Jr., also filed his COC at the Comelec.
Meanwhile, Thristan Joshua Braga filed his COC for councilor in the first district of Davao City under the Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod (HTL) party today, Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Tristhan is a pilot and the grandson of Councilor Pilar Braga.
Councilor Alberto Ungab filed his COC as a reelectionist for the third district of Davao Under the Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod (HTL) party.
