
THE DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) XI distributed cash grants to 272,644 households as part of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in 2024.
Last March 2024, 12,796 households had graduated from the 4Ps program, with 10,041 being level 3, while 4,748 exited due to natural attrition and other reasons. The households were endorsed to their respective LGUs for post-program services to ensure that they are sustained.
“The LGU has a great role in the monitoring of our beneficiaries kay basin naa pay mga other intervention na provide nila para dili sila mag slip back sa ilahang pagiging pantawid,” Gemma Dela Cruz, DSWD XI OIC assistant regional director for operations said during the Kapihan sa PIA on Mar 21.
Meanwhile, the Sustainable Livelihood Program also provided program modalities to 24,033 households, with 13,420 poor households served out of the targeted 13,642.
DSWD FO XI also accomplished 63,077 4Ps beneficiaries from the targeted 53,899 were referred to non-government agencies, private sectors, civil society organizations for livelihood and employment by associating them with appropriate services and interventions.
Other reports in 2024 include 90,914 households benefited from the Kalahi-CIDSS program as well as 4,511 poor households received assistance through cash-for-work with 4,156 damaged households provide with early recovery services under the Risk Resilience Program on Climate Change Adaptation Mitigation.
