THE DEPARTMENT of Tourism XI awarded six ultimate conquerors of the Davao Adventure Challenge 2024 Batch 1 on Oct. 18 for their triumphant and thrilling journeys.
Marjorie Bustamante from Panabo, Davao del Norte scored 560 points followed by Babe Mary Vil Decena also from Panabo with 540 points, and Carlo Jay Limbojan from Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur with 540 points. All three Ultimate Conquears completed a total of 14 challenges.
Decena and Limbajon were also the first challengers to reach the Ultimate Conqueror level during the Davao Adventure Challenge 2024.
Solah Chubachi from Asuncion, Davao del Norte scores 520 points, Nestlie Jane Ylana from Brgy. Libuganan, Tagum scoring 500, and John Mark Rafols from Bankerohan, Davao City scoring 500 points. A total of 13 challenges were completed by the three Ultimate Conquerors.
The six conquerors received their own respective awards such as DAC Trophies, free domestic RT tickets, overnight stays, DAC Bummer Jacket, and others.
The Davao Adventure Challenge 2024 will run from May 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025, attracting visitors, tourists, and locals of Davao’s adventure sites while conducting challenges and earning points for rewards and recognition.
As of Oct. 18, 2024, DOT XI has registered challengers, 300 approved challenges, 6 participants to reach Ultimate Conquerors (500 points), and 12 top scorers at 160 points.
Other updates include the launching of the Davao Adventure Challenge (DAC) application, which will be available in November for aspiring and enthusiastic adventurers.
