DCPO, PRO XI hold virtual meeting to boost security efforts

THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) held a virtual meeting on Friday, led by Police Regional Office XI Director Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III, to discuss strategies for enhancing peace and order in the city.

DCPO spokesperson Captain Hazel Tuazon stated on Sunday that the meeting focused on the three-minute response time (MRT) program, a key initiative of the regional director.

“To assess the true picture of the peace and order situation in the city, the Deputy City Director for Operations presented comprehensive data on crime statistics, accomplishments, logistics, and personnel strength,” Tuazon said.

“The meeting also covered the administrative and operational functions of the DCPO,” she added.

The regional director incentivized participation by rewarding station commanders who could answer his questions with GCash, a mobile payment service.

“We incorporated humor into the meeting to keep it lively. The regional director encouraged everyone to listen attentively and rewarded those who provided accurate responses with a ‘breakfast’ via GCash,” Tuazon explained.

She said this interactive approach would hopefully foster active engagement and knowledge sharing among the participants.
