DCPO issues security protocols for Duaw Davao 2025

THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) is calling on all Davaoeños and visitors to strictly adhere to established safety and security protocols to ensure a peaceful, orderly, and enjoyable celebration.

The festival, showcasing the city’s vibrant attractions and music festivities, runs from June 5 to 29.

In a public advisory issued by the DCPO, acting city director Col Hansel M. Marantan emphasized the importance of public cooperation.

“Duaw Davao is a lively celebration that showcases the city’s diverse attractions and vibrant music festivities, igniting Davao’s tourism spirit,” Marantan said. “In partnership with the LGU and security agencies, DCPO has implemented comprehensive safety measures to ensure a peaceful and successful event.”

To maintain Davao City’s reputation as one of the safest cities in the country, the DCPO is urging everyone to practice the “Culture of Security” by promptly reporting any crimes or suspicious activities to authorities.

The advisory highlights several key prohibitions and guidelines that the public must observe throughout the festival period:
