DCPO: INC national prayer rally peaceful 

THE IGLESIA ni Cristo (INC) National Rally for Peace concluded peacefully in Davao City on Monday, with authorities praising the event’s organizers and attendees for their cooperation in ensuring a safe and orderly gathering.

An estimated 370,000 participants attended the rally, which was held without any significant incidents.

‘I deeply commend the dedication of all personnel who worked tirelessly to execute a seamless security operation, ensuring the event transpired without disruptions,’ said acting city director Col Hansel Marantan of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).

DCPO personnel were strategically deployed throughout the city, managing traffic flow, providing security at key locations, and assisting participants.

He also recognized the invaluable cooperation of the INC and the public in adhering to safety protocols, which greatly contributed to the event’s success.

The acting city director emphasized that maintaining peace and order during large-scale gatherings reflects the shared responsibility between law enforcement and the community.

DCPO further acknowledges the unwavering support of the local government unit, whose collaboration played a vital role in the rally’s success.

Davao City Police Office reaffirms its commitment to upholding peace, security, and public safety with integrity and professionalism.

“Together with our partners and the community, we continue to ensure that Davao City remains a model of harmony and security,” he said.
