A liquor ban will take effect at midnight on May 11, as the DCPO has also completed simulation exercises to boost its readiness to handle unexpected situations.

Moreover, they assured security coverage for the upcoming miting de avance for Duterte-aligned senatorial candidates even without a formal request from the organizing party.

Dili angay jud kabalakhan nganong nay SWAT during rally kay wala tay gipili dira nga color nga atong hatagan ug seguridad,”  Tuazon added.

Meanwhile, authorities reminded the public to report any vote-buying or election-related concerns, but stressed that evidence is needed for them to take action.

The DCPO has no election-related incidents so far, and officers hope the trend will hold at the end of the election period.
