DCPO distributes Christmas gifts to 200 children

APPROXIMATELY 200 children received Christmas gifts from the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) during the kick-off ceremony of the Pamaskong Handog 2024 Alay sa Kabataan Year 8 on Thursday, Dec. 6.

Acting city director Col Hansel Marantan led the ceremony and was joined by staff officers, station commanders, media partners, and stakeholders.

The ceremony began with a prayer and blessing by Fr. Emmanuel Gonzaga, parish priest of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. It was held at the DCPO covered court, Camp Capt. Domingo E Leonor, San Pedro Street, Davao City.

Highlights of the activity included the distribution of Christmas gifts and snacks to approximately 200 children from different police stations. This was followed by entertainment provided by DCPO dancers and Sgt. Kalasag (DCPO Mascot). A festive motorcade with DCPO mobile patrol vehicles adorned with vibrant Christmas decorations spread holiday cheer throughout the city.
