Additionally, in partnership with Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) XI, a memorandum was passed last March 24, to do action planning for Holy Week.
This includes informing the operators of public utility vehicles (PUV) that the condition of their vehicles are roadworthy and available for this season.
Furthermore, drivers underwent a drug screening at DCOTT terminal and malls along J.P Laurel Avenue on April 14 to ensure standards are watched.
Engr. Ronnel Victor Panigon, LTFRB XI, Transportation Development Officer II, said they will also hold inspections of bus terminals, their garages, and the units.
DCOTT also posted a Holy Week Travel Advisory through its Facebook page to inform passengers of the bus schedule for Maundy Thursday (April 17) and Good Friday (April 18).
