DCOTT security up ahead of Holy Week

THE CITY Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT) has tightened measures for the coming observance of Holy Week starting on March 24.

DCOTT manager Aisa Usop on Monday said the influx of passengers already started based on the number of bus trips at the terminal.

But, she said they expect that the number of passengers will double as the Holy Week approaches.

Meanwhile, DCOTT is closely coordinating with police personnel and other law enforcement units to ensure passenger safety.

DCOTT is committed to the strict screening of passengers entering the terminal, especially those carrying prohibited items.

Also, she advised drivers and bus operators to avoid picking up passengers outside of the designated terminals as part of the security measures.
