Australian visitor numbers to the Philippines have significantly increased, reflecting the country’s rising popularity as a world-class destination. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, arrivals surged from 112,500 in 2022 to 233,170 in 2023.  The Department of Tourism reports that Australians are now the fifth-largest source market for Philippine tourism, spending an average of 13 nights in the country, exploring the islands and indulging in local cuisine.
