THE DAVAO City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (DCCCII) expects more than 500 local and international investors, brands, and leaders for the 7th Davao Investment Conference (Davao ICON) 2023 this July 17-19 at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf & Country Club in Barangay Mandug.
The six focused industries for the event are manufacturing, agro-processing, tourism, ICT, property development, and human capital.
Nicole Nina Hao Bian Ledesma, Davao ICON 2023 chairperson, said, “This event will bring businessmen, COO, and executives to come here in Davao to see what’s going on in Davao, to feel Davao of themselves so that we are now more convinced to bring business here in Davao.”
The event will also tackle future-proofing the region through long-term investments and businesses that will benefit not only the city and tourism but the citizens as well.
“Davao ICON this year promises to be more diversified, inclusive in making sure that we showcase the vibrant business community here in Davao,” Ledesma said.
She emphasized that the conference will also focus on businesswomen and women investors.
The government, academe, media, and peace and security sectors will also attend the conference.
