THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) apprehended four suspected drug suspects in a series of operations within 24 hours.
Acting city police director Col Hansel M. Marantan reported the successful anti-drug operations, carried out across different police stations in the city.
Police stations in San Pedro, Toril, and Los Amigos conducted three separate anti-illegal drug operations.
These operations resulted in the seizure of shabu with a combined estimated street value of P 43,472.40.
- PS2-San Pedro: Confiscated shabu worth Php 4,760.00.
- PS8-Toril: Confiscated shabu worth Php 4,964.00.
- PS20-Los Amigos: Confiscated the largest haul of shabu, with an estimated value of Php 33,748.40.
Marantan emphasized the DCPO’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Davao City.
He acknowledged the vital role played by the community, barangay officials, and the local government unit in providing information and support to combat the drug menace.
“The active involvement of the community in reporting suspicious activities remains crucial in the fight against illegal drugs,” he said.
