THE CITY Transport and Traffic Management Office reminded the public to be patient of the scheduled road closures to accommodate the activities for the 39th Kadayawan Festival.
CTTMO head Dionisio Abude assured motorists that they are doing all they can to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, especially with the closure of the Davao City Coastal Road for the IRONMAN 70.3 event.
The CTTMO will request an additional 20-meter cutting of the island at Matina Crossing to accommodate vehicles from downtown going to Matina Aplaya.
He also said they are reviewing the approved routing scheme for Aug. 5-8 to find ways for improvement. Traffic enforcers will be deployed to manage the traffic on the affected roads.
Abude encouraged Davaoeños and tourists to plan their route ahead of time to avoid getting caught in traffic.
