CSC-XI to digitize Service Exams

THE CIVIL Service Commission-XI will be using modern technology on the applications for Fire officers, Penology officers, BCLTE officers examinations.

During Wednesday’s Media Forum at Habi at Kape in Abreeza Ayala Malls, CSC-XI Regional Director CSC-XI, Dir. Cyril-Nathan SM. Eamiguel, said that they are trying their best to make the processes more convenient and efficient through digitalization where examinees can book via online. The filing is still in person.

Dir. Eamiguel said there is an online examination called the Computerized Exam or COMEX that is available on their official CSC website. He also said that Davao City is still making improvements on their facilities while other regions are already using the computer examination.

Evelyn Yparraguirre, Chief Human Resource Specialist of CSC-XI, said that the application for examinations open for fire officers, penology officers, and BCLTE officers are still ongoing which started last March 4 and will end on April 3. Applicants will have to register to the CSC Eserve, an option also available in their official website, so that they can proceed to the booking system.

She also added that they are targeting 6,000 applicants but if there are more applicants, they can exceed the total number of the target.

Passing rate is still 80 percent and those applicants who failed to take the exam will have their examination fee forfeited. If they want to take the exam again, they will have to apply for the next schedule on August 11.
