CROWDERA Philippines will hold its 8th Giving Economy Forum 2025 (GEF) in Davao City on May 29 at the Pinnacle Suites to celebrate global impact and purpose-driven leadership.
As the first GEF in the country, this nationwide event is a gathering of visionaries, philanthropists, and changemakers who create meaningful and positive impacts to society as well as shaping economic growth.
Volunteers will also be awarded by their impacts in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations.
“We are awarding 17 to 18 individuals in this event. We have awardees coming all the way from Luzon, meron taga Visayas, and the rest are coming from Mindanao,” ICT Davao president Eric Manalastas said during the Kapehan sa Dabaw on May 26.
Manalastas shared that Davao City was chosen due to many non-governmental organizations and charities working in Mindanao. The future GEF events are also planned to be held in the Philippines soon.
Crowdera is a crowdfunding platform in empowering individuals globally while providing organizations and causes.
Crowdera Philippines is the local arm working closely with communities, nonprofits, and purpose-led entities.
