In a statement on Saturday, people were advised to avoid going to the public markets, supermarkets, and other establishments of the barangays where the risk is very high or high.

There are five barangays categorized as very high, and they are barangays 13-B, 21-C, 23-C, Buhangin Proper, and Leon Garcia.
The high risk areas, meanwhile, are barangays 5-A, 19-B, Agdao Proper, Catalunan Grande, Matina Crossing, Panacan, Talomo Proper, and Tigatto.

The city government also identified 17 other areas as moderate due to their proximity to high risk barangays. These include barangay 2-A, 6-A, 8-A, 11-B, 15-B, 20-B, Bago Aplaya, Bucana, Cataluna Pequeño, Communal, Ilang, Langub, Mandug, Matina Pangi, Mudiang, Sasa, and Tacunan.

On the other hand, barangays 10-A, Bago Gallera, Cabantian, Dalio, Governor Paciano Bangoy, Indangan, Ma-a, Matina Aplaya, and Sto. Niño are classified as moderate.

Mayor Sara Duterte has warned that relaxing the lockdown measures as Davao City reverted to the general community quarantine may result in a surge in confirmed cases. She reminded the public to still stay at home when they can, practice social distancing, and wear face masks when they go out.

On Friday, Duterte officially signed the executive order declaring the implementation of the GCQ starting May 16. The order lifted the clustering scheme and also moved the curfew from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., although the liquor ban will still be enforced 24/7.
