A 27-YEAR-OLD third-year dentistry student was arrested after he was reported to be practicing without a license in Purok 4, Sitio Sinalikway, Bago Oshiro, Tugbok District, at 2:41 p.m. on Thursday, May 2.
The suspect, identified by his alias Jes, is a resident of the area.
Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group XI, along with the Anti-Scam Unit and Philippine Dental Association, launched the operation under Oplan Olea, a flagship program of the CIDG.
Jes is currently under the custody of CIDG XI and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9484, or the Act Regulating the Practice of Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, and Dental Technology in the Philippines.
