Celebrating the flavors of Davao Region

APART from visiting a new place, travel often allows us to immerse in the local culture, open doors to forming new friendships, and create unforgettable memories. However, the one experience that truly etches itself into our minds – and palates – is the exploration of local gastronomy.

To showcase the produce and culinary offerings of the different provinces of Davao Region, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Agriculture, and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts partnered once again in celebrating the regional leg of the Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino (Filipino Food Month) from April 19 to 20 at the activity center of Ayala Malls Abreeza.

“We hope that this celebration deepens our appreciation for our homegrown produce and products as well as for our local farmers, fisherfolks, and artisans. May this also inspire us to ensure these culinary traditions and treasures are passed on to future generations,” said DOT Xl Regional Director Tanya Rabat Tan.
